Ingredients

1 c. cooked rice (heated with 1 Tbsp. margarine)
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1/2 c. raisins (optional)
3 eggs
2 c. milk
Preparation

Spread rice in bottom of casserole dish.
Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar or more if you like it sweeter.
Sprinkle nutmeg over this and add 1 tablespoon vanilla.
Stir in 1/2 cup raisins.
Mix up 3 eggs with 2 cups whole milk or diluted canned milk.
Pour this mixture over rice and stir.
Set in pan of water to bake at 350\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 for about an hour.
