Salisbury Venison Steaks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground venison
    1/2 lb. lean ground pork
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. plain bread crumbs
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. dried parsley
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    flour
    1/3 c. + 1 Tbsp. oil
    1 large onion, sliced into rings
    2 (4 1/2 oz.) jars sliced mushrooms, drained
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can beef broth
Preparation
    In a large bowl combine first 10 ingredients.
    Mix well; shape into 10 patties.
    Thoroughly coat each patty with flour.
    Heat 1/3 cup oil in skillet over medium heat.
    Add patties and brown on both sides.
    Transfer patties to a greased roasting pan.
    Place onion and mushrooms over meat.
    Add remaining tablespoon of oil to drippings in skillet.
    Stir in 2 tablespoons flour and cook over medium heat until flour begins to brown.
    Stirring constantly, add beef broth and cook until slightly thickened. Pour gravy over steaks.
    Cover and bake one hour at 350\u00b0.
