Grandma K'S Red Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head red cabbage
    1 sliced apple
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. wine vinegar
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Add a small amount of water to first 3 ingredients and boil until tender.
    When done, add remaining ingredients and simmer for a few minutes.
    You may add a little flour to thicken.
