Shrimp Commodore - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. Worcestershire
    1 c. grated American cheese
    1/4 c. tomato juice
    1 lb. shrimp, cleaned, cooked and peeled
    3 c. hot cooked extra long grain rice
Preparation
    Saute onion and pepper in butter 2 minutes.
    Stir flour then water.
    Stir until mixture thickens.
    Add seasonings.
    Add cheese and stir until melted.
    Blend in tomato juice.
    Add shrimp and heat thoroughly, about 5 minutes.
    Serve over hot, cooked rice.
