Crock-Pot Apple Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 c. peeled, sliced apples
    6 c. sugar
    6 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
Preparation
    Put all ingredients in a large crock-pot and cover.
    Cook on High for 6 to 7 hours.
    Uncover.
    Cook 1 1/2 hours, until thick. Mix until desired consistency (lumpy or smooth).
    Put into small containers.
    Freezes well.
