Gourmet Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pork chops (1 1/2-inch thick)
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/4 tsp. rosemary
    1/2 c. sour cream
    3/4 c. water
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) can French fried onion rings
Preparation
    Coat chops with flour, salt and pepper.
    Brown on both sides in 2 tablespoons of shortening in pan.
    Place in baking dish.
    Combine soup, ginger, rosemary, sour cream and water.
    Pour over chops. Sprinkle with half the onion.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
    Uncover.
    Sprinkle with remaining onions and continue baking 10 minutes.
    Serve with noodles or rice.
