Beef Roast And Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. beef roast
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    1/2 stick margarine
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 can Campbell's golden mushroom soup
Preparation
    Wash roast well.
    Slice roast in half crosswise and sprinkle with salt, pepper and dry soup mix on all surfaces.
    Chop up margarine on top of roast.
    Pour water over roast and cook overnight in crock-pot.
    In the morning, add mushroom soup and let cook until lunch.
