Beer Batter For Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    12 oz. beer
    3 egg whites, beaten
    hot oil
Preparation
    Mix together flour, salt and beer.
    Mix will be firm.
    Beat egg whites until soft peaks.
    Stir in small amounts of egg whites at a time (to keep batter light).
    Dip vegetables into batter and drop into hot oil, one piece at a time.
    May store any leftovers for 2 to 3 days.
    Can use on fruit fritters.
