Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oleo
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 large egg
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 c. rhubarb, cut fine
Preparation
    Cream shortening
    and
    sugar.
    Add
    egg
    and
    vanilla.
    Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with buttermilk.
    Add rhubarb. Mix 1/4 cup sugar and
    1 teaspoon cinnamon and sprinkle on top of batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
    Delicious warm with ice cream or milk.
