Cranberry-Pecan Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sour cream
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. cranberries, halved
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Cream margarine; add sugar.
    Beat until fluffy.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time, and add vanilla.
    Fold in sour cream.
    Combine flour, baking powder, soda, nutmeg and salt.
    Gradually blend into creamed mixture.
    Fold in cranberries and nuts.
    Fill paper-lined muffin cups half full.
    Combine sugar and nutmeg.
    Sprinkle small amount on each muffin.
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 20 to 25 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
    Yields 2 dozen.
