Banana-Walnut Bundt Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. shortening
3 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. mashed bananas (about 4)
1/2 c. plain low-fat yogurt
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
4 large eggs
2 c. chopped walnuts (I use black walnuts)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour 10-inch tube pan.
In a large bowl, with mixer at low speed, beat sugar and shortening just until blended.
Add remaining ingredients, except walnuts. Beat until well mixed.
Increase speed to high and beat 2 minutes. Stir in walnuts.
Bake 65 to 70 minutes.
Cool cake 10 minutes in pan. Remove to wire rack.
