Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2-layer) pkg. German chocolate cake mix
    1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    3/4 c. melted butter
    1 c. nuts
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix using package
    directions.
    Pour
    half the batter into greased and floured 9 x
    13-inch
    baking
    pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Melt
    caramels
    with
    evaporated milk and butter in saucepan over low
    heat, stirring constantly.
    Pour over baked layer.
    Sprinkle with 1
    cup
    nuts
    and chocolate chips.
    Pour remaining batter
    over
    caramel
    layer. Sprinkle with 1 cup nuts.
    Bake for 20 minutes longer.
