Butter Pecan Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar, divided
    1 c. margarine or butter, blended and divided
    1 1/2 c. Planters pecan pieces
    1 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
Preparation
    In large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed, beat flour, 3/4 cup brown sugar and 1/3 cup margarine or butter.
    Blend 2 to 3 minutes or until fine.
    Pat firmly into greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Sprinkle with pecans and press lightly.
