Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    green tomatoes, sliced 1/8 inch thick
    salt
    pepper
    egg
    bread crumbs
    margarine
Preparation
    After slicing tomatoes, dry carefully with a paper towel. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Beat an egg until light and add to it a tablespoon hot water.
    Dip each slice into egg mixture and then into bread crumbs.
    Fry in hot margarine.
    Brown on one side and carefully turn with a spatula.
    Keep warm until ready to serve.
