Baked Pork Chops With Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 thick pork shoulder chops
    salt
    6 tart apples
    1/4 c. water
    1/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Wipe chops with a damp cloth.
    Brown slowly, but well on both sides in a hot greased skillet.
    Sprinkle with salt.
    Core and slice unpared apples 1-inch thick.
    Arrange on top of pork chops. Add water and sprinkle lightly with sugar.
    Cover and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until chops are tender.
