Banana Split Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. vanilla wafers, crushed
    1 stick margarine, melted
    2 eggs
    1/2 lb. whipped margarine (soft in tub)
    4 to 5 bananas, sliced
    2 c. crushed pineapple, drained
    1 large container Cool Whip
    chopped nuts
    maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Mix margarine and vanilla wafer crumbs well and pat into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Beat powdered sugar, eggs and whipped margarine with mixer for 8 minutes.
    Pour over crust and spread evenly.
    Slice bananas over whipped mixture in pan.
    Spread pineapple over bananas.
    Spread 1 large container of softened Cool Whip over pineapple.
    Garnish with chopped nuts and cherries.
    Refrigerate until serving.
