Oatmeal Waffles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. quick cooking oats
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 1/2 c. milk
    6 Tbsp. butter, melted
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation
    In large mixing bowl, stir together flour, oats, baking powder, cinnamon and salt; set aside.
    In small bowl, mix eggs, milk, butter and brown sugar together.
    Add to flour mixture.
    Stir to blend.
    Pour batter onto preheated grids of greased waffle iron. (Amount of batter will vary with size of waffle iron.)
    Close lid quickly.
    Do not open during baking.
    Use fork to remove baked waffle.
    Top with fresh fruit, yogurt or syrup.
    Yields 12 (4-inch) square waffles.
