Herb Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 2/3 c. sifted flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. yellow cornmeal
1/2 tsp. celery salt
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. thyme
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. melted butter
Preparation

Sift flour with baking powder, onion salt, salt and sugar. Stir cornmeal and herbs into dry ingredients. Combine egg, milk and melted butter. Add all at once to dry ingredients.
Stir until dry ingredients are well moistened but still lumpy.
Pour into well-greased 8-inch square baking pan, muffin pan or cornstick pan. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 25 to 35 minutes until top is golden brown. Serve hot.
