Beef Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef chuck
    6 c. water
    1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/8 tsp. minced garlic
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 3/4 tsp. chili powder
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 can mixed vegetables
    potatoes
Preparation
    Cube beef and place in large saucepan with next 7 ingredients. Cook until beef is well done (about 2 hours).
    Add potatoes and cook about 1/2 hour longer.
    Add mixed vegetables 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
