Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
    4 eggs
    2 c. half and half
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1 1/4 c. shredded Swiss cheese
    pastry for 1 (10-inch) pie shell (unbaked)
Preparation
    Sprinkle crumbled bacon in pie crust.
    In a bowl, beat eggs, half and half, salt and nutmeg.
    Stir in cheese.
    Pour into crust. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Reduce temperature to 325\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
    Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
    Makes 6 servings.
