Delicious Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. Oreo cookies
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, melted
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream, softened
1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip, thawed
1 1/2 Tbsp. chocolate syrup
1/2 c. chopped pecans
maraschino cherries
Preparation

Finely crush cookies and combine with butter.
Reserve 1 cup cookie mixture.
Spread remaining cookies in buttered 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish.
Cover cookies with ice cream.
Spread with Cool Whip. Drizzle chocolate syrup over Cool Whip.
Sprinkle with nuts and remaining cookie crumbs.
Freeze until firm.
Remove from freezer a few minutes before serving.
Serves 20.
