Squash Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 or 4 medium squash
    1 egg
    1/3 c. flour
    1/3 c. meal
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    salt and pepper
    cooking oil
Preparation
    Boil squash in water until tender.
    Drain.
    Mash and drain again.
    Add other ingredients to mashed squash.
    You may need to add more flour and meal if batter is not stiff enough.
    Spoon into a hot frying pan and cook on medium heat until brown and crisp.
