Sausage Potato Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 can creamed corn
1 can whole kernel corn
1 can evaporated milk
1 lb. smoked sausage
1/2 c. chopped onion
3 c. diced potatoes
1 Tbsp. crushed basil
1 Tbsp. sugar
salt and pepper to taste
4 c. chicken broth
Preparation

Cut smoked sausage into bite size pieces. Put smoked sausage and onions in soup pot and simmer until onions are tender. Add chicken broth, potatoes, sugar, basil, salt and pepper. Cook until potatoes are fork-tender. Add milk and both cans of corn. Stir well and heat through.
