Corn Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. distilled white vinegar
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. noniodized salt
    1 tsp. turmeric
    1 tsp. celery seed
    2 tsp. dry mustard
    1 c. finely chopped red pepper
    1 c. finely chopped celery
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen corn or 4 c. fresh corn, cut from the cob
Preparation
    Combine water, vinegar, all the spices and sugar in 3-quart heavy saucepan.
    Stir frequently with a wooden spoon, bringing mixture to a heavy boil.
    Add red pepper, celery and onion to this mixture and lastly add the corn.
    Return to boil stage.
    Cook, uncovered, for 5 minutes.
    Pack in prepared and sterilized glass jars, sealing tightly.
    Store in refrigerator.
    Makes 1 quart.
