Escarole Bean And Ham Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 chopped garlic cloves
1 small sliced onion
2 Tbsp. butter
2 slices ham, chopped or cut in strips
1 head escarole, washed and shredded
2 cans chicken broth
1 can drained cannellini beans (white kidney)
Preparation

Saute garlic cloves and small sliced onion in 2 tablespoons butter.
Add ham, chopped or cut in strips and slide around in saute butter.
Pile on top of this almost 1 head escarole, washed and shredded.
Cover and steam until limp.
Add chicken both and let simmer 10 to 15 minutes.
Add drained cannellini beans (white kidney) and heat.
Serve with Italian bread.
