Marinated Chuck Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (5 lb.) beef chuck roast (about 3 inches thick)
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. catsup
    1/2 c. wine vinegar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 clove garlic, minced
Preparation
    Pierce roast all over on both sides.
    Place in casserole. Combine oil, catsup, wine vinegar, salt, pepper and garlic; pour over roast.
    Cover and marinate 12 to 18 hours.
