Holiday Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can fruit cocktail, drained (save juice)
    1 small can pineapple chunks, drained (save juice)
    1 small can mandarin oranges, drained
    1 jar cherries, drained (save juice; optional)
    4 bananas
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. reserved juice
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 pt. whipped cream
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Mix in flour in saucepan.
    Mix fruit juice, sugar and egg and add to flour mixture.
    Stir and cook until thick pudding.
    Cool.
    Add to fruit mixture (except bananas) .
    When ready to serve, whip the cream, cut up the bananas and add to the fruit pudding mix.
