Flour Tortillas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    2 tsp. salt
    6 Tbsp. shortening
    1 to 1 1/4 c. lukewarm water
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients; add shortening, working it into the flour.
    Stir in 1 cup water; knead well and form into balls the size of an egg.
    Let stand 15 minutes.
    Roll out to size of plate. Cook on hot ungreased griddle or skillet.
    Let it cook on one side until bubbly looking.
    Flip over and do same.
