Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. vanilla pudding (not instant)
    1 can pineapple chunks
    1 can mandarin oranges
    2 to 3 bananas
    maraschino cherries
    2 kiwi
Preparation
    Put pudding mix in microwave bowl.
    Measure liquid from chunks and oranges (need 1 to 1 1/4 cups).
    Pour into pudding.
    Cook, uncovered, for 3 to 4 minutes in microwave until boiling.
    Add pineapple and oranges to mixture; cool.
    Add cherries.
    One hour before serving, slice bananas and mix.
    Slice and peel kiwi and arrange on top of salad.
