Pickled Red Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head red cabbage
    2 c. vinegar
    2 c. water
    2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Shred red cabbage.
    Sprinkle with a little salt and place in bowl.
    Combine vinegar, water and sugar in pan and bring to boil. Pour hot liquid over cabbage and refrigerate at least 24 hours. Will keep in the refrigerator at least 2 weeks.
