Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. light brown sugar
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. evaporated milk
    6 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Butter sides of heavy saucepan.
    Combine sugars and milk. Heat and stir over low heat until sugar dissolves.
    Increase heat and cook mixture to thread stage.
    Remove from heat and add butter and pecans.
    Let mixture get almost stiff in pot, then spoon on buttered pan.
