Blueberry Muffins - cooking recipe

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. blueberries
sugar (for sprinkling on top)
Preparation

Grease muffin tins.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, beating well.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk and vanilla.
Crush 1/2 cup berries; add to batter.
Fold in remaining berries.
Spoon into muffin tin; sprinkle with sugar.
Bake for 30 minutes at 375\u00b0. Makes 12 to 24 muffins, depending on pans.
