Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. pecans (optional)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. flour*
3 c. quick cooking oats

Preparation

*Usually add about 1/8 to 1/4 cup more, because this dough is quite sticky.
