Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    round steak or sirloin
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 chopped onion
    1 c. beef broth (1 c. hot water/1 beef bouillon)
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 clove garlic
    2 green peppers, cut into strips
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch in 1/4 c. cold water
Preparation
    Cut meat into pieces or strips; brown meat and salt.
    Push meat to one side of pan, add onion, cook and stir until tender, stir in broth, soy sauce and garlic.
    Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Add green peppers.
    Cover and simmer 5 minutes.
    Blend cornstarch in 1/4 cup water, gradually stir into meat mixture stirring constantly until mixture thickens.
    Cover for 5 minutes.
    Serve over cooked rice.
