Chinese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head lettuce
    2 pkg. frozen green peas
    2 Bermuda onions
    2 cans water chestnuts
    mayonnaise (small jar)
    Parmesan cheese to taste
Preparation
    Take a large bowl and place torn lettuce (dried) in bottom. Place peas to cover lettuce.
    Then place sliced onions to cover peas.
    Then place water chestnuts to cover onions.
    Continue layers until bowl is filled.
    Spread a thick layer of mayonnaise on top and sprinkle with cheese.
    Place in refrigerator for 5 to 6 hours or overnight.
