Spicy Cherry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. frozen pie shells
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon or almond flavoring
    1 c. fruit juice
    2 c. drained, pitted cherries
    1 Tbsp. butter
    5 drops red vegetable coloring (optional)
Preparation
    Combine in saucepan the sugar, flour, cinnamon and juice. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils.
    Add cherries and mix lightly.
    Pour into bottom crust. Cover with top crust and crimp to seal.
    Cut several slices in top.
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly, about 30 to 35 minutes.
