Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 to 1 1/2 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
1/4 c. margarine or butter
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. flour
1 3/4 c. milk
8 oz. process sharp cheese, cut in 1/4-inch cubes
Preparation

Cook macaroni (on box).
Cook and stir margarine, onion, salt and pepper over medium heat until onion is tender.
Blend in flour. Cook over low heat, stirring until mixture is smooth. Stir in milk.
Heat to boiling. Boil 1 minute.
Remove from heat. Stir in cheese. Stir with macaroni.
Place in a 1 1/2-quart casserole. Cook, uncovered, at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
