Grandma'S Buttermilk Pancakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. buttermilk (preferably 1 week old)
    1 1/2 c. Bisquick
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 c. milk
    8 slices French bread
    2 eggs
    butter
    cinnamon and sugar
Preparation
    Mix 1 tablespoon sugar and milk and pour over sliced bread. Dip each piece of bread in beaten eggs, handling carefully so that bread retains its shape.
    Gently melt butter in a skillet and fry bread on both sides until golden brown.
    Remove to serving dish and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar (pre-mixed).
    Serve hot.
