Layered Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head lettuce
1/2 c. celery
1/2 c. onion
1/2 c. green pepper
1 pkg. frozen green peas or 1 can tiny peas, drained
1 c. shredded cheese
6 to 8 slices bacon
sliced water chestnuts (optional)
chopped tomato (optional)
Preparation

Arrange the following by layers in a bowl. A large glass salad bowl is very effective.
