Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 c. sliced, pared green apples
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. Wondra flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    In a 9-inch pie pan, place your favorite pastry dough. Sprinkle half of the combined sugar, flour and spices onto pastry. Heap apples in the pastry and sprinkle with remaining sugar and flour mixture.
    Dot with butter.
    Place top pastry.
    Brush with egg and make slits to vent.
    Seal and flute edges.
    Bake 50 minutes.
