Hot Sausage Special - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. hot Italian sausage
    2 large onions, sliced
    2 green peppers, sliced
    1 (28 oz.) can tomato sauce
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
Preparation
    Saute onion and green pepper in oil with salt and pepper.
    Add sauce and about 1/2 can of water.
    Simmer about 30 minutes on low heat.
    Put sausage in a baking pan.
    Bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cut into pieces and put into sauce.
    Cook on low gas and simmer another 25 to 30 minutes.
