Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 c. sugar
    5 egg yolks
    5 egg whites
    2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 small can coconut
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter and Crisco.
    Add sugar and beat well.
    Add egg yolks, one at a time.
    Sift flour and soda together.
    Add buttermilk, vanilla, coconut and pecans.
    Add to mixture.
    Fold in beaten egg whites.
    Pour into 3 (8 or 9-inch) cake pans.
