Scalloped Sweet Potatoes And Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium size sweet potatoes, cooked
    4 medium size apples, cored and cut in rings
    1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1/2 c. pecans or walnut pieces
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. mace
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Cut sweet potatoes in lengthwise slices about 1/2-inch thick. In a greased 2-quart casserole, arrange layers as follows: apples, brown sugar, nuts and seasoning.
    Dot each layer with butter. Repeat layering process until casserole is full or ingredients are used up.
    Cover.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 50 minutes.
    Makes 6 servings.
