Mamaw Cora'S Egg Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 whole eggs, well beaten
1/2 c. plus 1 heaping Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. flour, mixed in the sugar
2 c. sweet milk
1/4 or 1/2 stick oleo, melted
nutmeg (if desired)
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Beat eggs well; add sugar and flour mix.
Add milk, oleo and vanilla.
Pour into unbaked pie crust.
Sprinkle nutmeg over top of pie.
Set pie on baking or cookie sheet.
Bake in moderate oven until a toothpick comes out clean.
