Reese Type Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. peanut butter
    1/2 c. butter or oleo, melted
    1 3/4 c. confectioners sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 (6 oz.) bag chocolate chips
    2 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
    Combine first six ingredients with 2 tablespoons water in a large bowl, beating until well blended and mixture forms a ball. Pat into 7 x 11-inch pan, smoothing top.
    Melt and blend remaining ingredients together in double boiler.
    Spread, smoothing over peanut butter mixture.
    Cut into squares when cooled.
