Homemade Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    1 1/2 to 2 c. sugar (1 1/2 c. for frozen fruit, 2 c. for fresh fruit)
    2 boxes frozen or 1 qt. fresh fruit
    3/4 tsp. vanilla (2 tsp. for plain vanilla ice cream)
    1 pt. heavy cream
    whole milk
Preparation
    Beat eggs about 5 minutes or until golden.
    Add sugar and beat until almost smooth.
    Add vanilla, fruit and cream, stir.
    Pour into freezer and add milk until 3/4 full.
    Put freezer in ice cream maker and follow manufacturer's instructions.
