Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

3 large eggs
2/3 c. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. melted butter
1 c. light or dark corn syrup
1 c. pecans
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0. Beat eggs, sugar and salt. Add butter and syrup. Mix in pecans. Bake in pie shell 40 to 45 minutes. If adding chocolate chips, mix in with pecans.
