Fruit Nut Drops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. flour
    3 c. coarsely chopped nuts
    8 oz. green candied pineapple, cut to the size of a pea
    3/4 lb. red candied cherries, halved
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until almost stiff, then gradually beat in sugar until stiff.
    Dredge fruit and nuts with flour and mix until coated.
    Add vanilla and salt to beaten egg white, then fold in the floured fruit and nuts.
    Drop from teaspoon on well-greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 15 minutes.
