Nantucket Cranberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. raw cranberries
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. margarine, melted
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. almond extract
    2 eggs, beaten
Preparation
    Wash and pick over cranberries.
    Place on bottom of greased 10-inch pie pan (square or oblong pan may be used).
    Sprinkel with 1/2 cup sugar and walnuts.
    Mix together 1 cup sugar and melted margarine, then add flour, almond extract and beaten eggs. Mix well.
    Pour batter over cranberries.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
    Serve with whipped cream.
