Easy Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 stick oleo/margarine
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. flour
    pinch of salt
    3/4 c. milk
    1 (No. 2) can fruit
Preparation
    Melt margarine in casserole in oven or microwave.
    Measure and mix lightly sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and milk.
    Pour over melted margarine, then pour fruit with juice over all.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
    (To make it even easier, use self-rising flour and omit baking powder and salt.
    If using peaches, add 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg to dry ingredients.)
